Ari’s Cancer Foundation (ACF) lit up the night with their highly anticipated 8th Annual Christmas in July Gala Dinner at the illustrious Kevin Grove Ballroom. After a four-year hiatus, the gala made a triumphant return, becoming a beacon of hope for adolescents and young adults facing cancer. The event, held on Saturday, the 15th of July, was a resounding success, drawing 260 delegates and devoted supporters of the foundation.

The star-studded black-tie affair was graced by none other than the dynamic radio personality, SUGA, who charmed the attendees and set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Guests were treated to an opulent three-course meal that delighted their palates, followed by a series of exhilarating giveaways that had the room buzzing with excitement. The evening reached its pinnacle during the thrilling raffle draws, where lucky winners walked away with envy-inducing prizes.

However, the true heart of the event lay in the powerful testimonial delivered by Anthea Lewis, a compassionate figure from the G3, Paediatric Oncology Ward at Tygerberg Hospital. Anthea’s emotional account showcased the profound impact ACF’s work has on the lives of young cancer patients, leaving not a single dry eye in the ballroom.

Making Dreams Come True

The gala served as a fundraiser for Ari’s Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing critical support and resources to young individuals battling cancer. The funds raised from this spectacular event will play a pivotal role in enabling ACF to continue their transformative work, offering hope and strength to those in need.

Corporate partners Billionetworks, Jakupa, and Colab Concepts demonstrated their unwavering commitment to social responsibility, joining hands with ACF to make a positive impact in the community. Their generosity and support shone as brightly as the gala itself.

The ACF Board of Trust expressed its deep gratitude to all the esteemed guests, sponsors, and supporters who made the gala a phenomenal success. “Their generosity and dedication to the cause have been instrumental in empowering the foundation to bring about positive change in the lives of countless young individuals facing cancer,” Zelda Jansen reflected.

ACF is committed to carrying the spirit of giving beyond the gala, making a lasting impact on the lives of young patients and their families. For more information about Ari’s Cancer Foundation and their initiatives, email: info@ariscancerfoundation.org.
